Technical Program
One of the innovations for this year’s symposium is the introduction of Focus Tracks. We have grouped the technical content of the symposium into four areas: Active Components, Microwave Modeling, Passive Components and Microwave Systems. These tracks will make it easier to identify technical content important to you and will allow us to organize the Symposium schedule for minimal overlap of similar technical topics. Our goal is to make the symposium easy to navigate and time well spent.
The technical sessions are arranged in four Focus Tracks, as shown in the figure below. Microwave Modeling track focuses on advanced analytic and simulation techniques to predict the performance of microwave components and circuits. The Active and Passive Components tracks covers all aspects of the state-of-the-art performance and techniques of microwave component development. Finally, the Microwave System track covers technology developments that are more central to system development and highlights performance of emerging systems.
Focus Tracks
The technical session schedule for Microwave Week will be arranged for minimal overlap of similar technical. The graphic below shows this arrangement and how it fits with RFIC and ARFTAG conferences. The workshops for the Focus Tracks will be held one day before and one day after the particular track. We will use the colors associated with the Focus Tracks throughout the Symposium to make is easy to identify sessions of interest to you.
Next month we will discuss what makes a good paper and what the reviewers are looking for when evaluating your paper. Check back then to get the Insider’s tips on preparing a strong paper.
