Coming
Your Way in May
IEEE
Microwave Magazine is publishing a special IMS bonus issue
that will examine technical sessions, events, and new opportunities
scheduled for the upcoming IMS in Boston this June. The issue
will provide technical background on some of the special sessions
in the form of feature articles by the session organizers.
Be sure to look for the issue in your mailbox, and use it
to help plan your time at IMS2009!
Articles authored by this year’s Steering Committee
provide information that will help attendees get the most
out of IMS2009. Topics include new symposium features such
as virtual participation, new registration features, RFID
tags for all attendees, print-on-demand presentation abstracts,
and a special Thursday evening reception on the exhibit floor.
The issue will also include articles providing strategies
to get the most out of the conference, as well as local information
to help you plan your Boston visit. Articles on the technical
program will examine regular sessions, workshops, short courses,
panel sessions, student competitions, the RFIC and ARFTG conferences,
MicroApps, and the plenary session. The symposium advanced
program and exhibitor listing will also be included in the
issue.
The Microwave
Magazine IMS issue will also include several technical feature
articles that will provide background material related to
some of the panel and rump sessions. Several emerging and/or
controversial technologies are the subject of these sessions
and the associated technical features will give attendees
who are planning on attending these sessions a fundamental
technical background to understand the basics and the subtleties
of the topic areas. The issue will be will be distributed
this April to all MTT-S members as well as attendees of past
IMS event.
